IFI awarded at the LIT Lighting Design Awards 2026

IFI was honoured at the LIT Lighting Design Awards 2026, receiving two winning distinctions for two different, yet equally meaningful lighting design projects: Homa House in Serifos and Anatolia College Pinewood in Thessaloniki.

The awards were received in Paris by George Anagnostakis, Creative Director of IFI, and Nickolas Anagnostakis, Managing Director of IFI, representing the entire IFI team and the partners involved in bringing both projects to life.

Homa House was awarded in the Hospitality Lighting Design category. The lighting design explores a minimal and carefully considered approach, using a limited number of light sources to enhance the villa’s contemporary architecture while creating a quiet dialogue with the industrial and mining heritage of Serifos. Light is used with restraint, shaping atmosphere, depth and a strong connection to the surrounding landscape.

Anatolia College Pinewood was awarded in the Public Building Lighting Design category. The lighting study was developed to support comfort, functionality and the overall educational experience. From classrooms and the library to common areas, atriums and outdoor spaces, the lighting enhances focus, movement, connection and the spatial qualities of the campus.

These distinctions reflect the collective effort of the IFI team, as well as the valuable contribution of the architects, clients and collaborators who trusted light as an integral part of the architectural experience.
