The light lines that follow the slits of the architectural elements define the overall lighting approach and create an iconic night image that radiates the harmony and luxury of the MAYIA resort and transform the building into a landmark.

MAYIA is a five-star luxury resort in the south part of Rhodes, it has 250 rooms and suites and covers an area of 62.000 sq. meters. The lighting design for the complex is based on two diverse scales. On the large scale it closely follows the long lines of the façade that dominate the landscape and on the small-scale, different lighting approaches facilitate the different uses of the space. The whole composition unfolds around a central spine created by rectangular gates that act as spaces that enchance all the movements of the complex and have become a favorite night spot.
